Kym is the part-time Director of Adult Faith Formation developing opportunities to help equip adults to deepen their relationship with Jesus and share their faith as disciples. Bible study, retreats, new friendships, Relevant Radio, and daily time with the Word have been instrumental in opening her heart to hearing and accepting God’s call. She is passionate about talking with people about their Holy Spirit moments and motivating them to evangelize.
Kym also serves Lakeland University in the full-time role of Director of Strategic Outreach responsible for expanding the university’s external partnerships and managing Launch: Lakeland Student-Run Businesses. Launch puts students in positions to make real-world business decisions, lead teams of their peers and be responsible for all aspects of the businesses from financial success to marketing strategies.
She has more than 25 years of experience in event planning, marketing, and fundraising, and is the founder and CEO of EventWise, a Sheboygan-based event, meeting, and strategy planning firm still in operation.
Kym has four grown children, a love for biking, hiking, and almost anything active. Continued education is important to her; she holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master’s in Business Administration from Lakeland University and is working on formal education in religious studies.
