Frank has been a practicing church musician throughout his life. He has been the organist at Holy Name Parish for 31 years. He grew up in Hurley, Wisconsin, where his family belonged to St. Mary's Parish, and he attended St. Mary’s school through the 8th grade.

Besides being Holy Name's organist, he also plays the accordion and keyboard in an Irish band known as the 'Connemara Boys.' He enjoys outdoor activities with family and friends. He also participates in several activities of the congregation's human concerns committee, such as Thanksgiving food boxes, Emmaus meal preparation, writing the Sunday petitions, and playing for Masses at local nursing homes.

His service as a church musician began at an early age, where he started taking organ and piano lessons from his school’s church organist and music teacher, Sister Mary Cecila. By the time he was in 7th grade, he had assisted at the organ for Sunday Masses during summer months when the sisters were not in residence at Saint Mary's Convent. Along with the other organ students, he played for all the weekend Masses and other occasions such as funerals and weddings. He continued with organ lessons with several teachers through high school and college. Throughout college and his career with the DNR, he continued to immerse himself in some capacity as a church musician.

Frank says, "Holy Name Parish is blessed to have so many dedicated and talented choir members, and they are a joy to work with." His favorite part of working for North Side Catholic parishes is the opportunity to lead the congregation in song at Holy Name Parish. His goal as an organist is to inspire the church to praise the Lord through music. He also enjoys working with the fantastic choirs as an accompanist. He also enjoys playing the historic 103-year old Austin Organ all for God's more incredible honor and glory!

Frank believes that people experience the North Side Catholic Parishes because they are a welcoming, prayerful community steeped in traditional Catholic values. North Side Catholic Parishes have an excellent Catholic school where there are many opportunities for learning about the gospel, fellowship, and serving others in need. All three parishes have outstanding choirs and music programs for those wanting to participate and welcome new people interested in sharing their musical talents.
